how can I cheer myself up and get over this?
I'm so depressed! I'm an emotional wreck because my baby boy (actually he's 9 years old, but still my baby) is going to be in the school christmas program this year and it's the last year I'lll ever have a little boy wearing a shepherd costume in the christmas program. (I had 4 boys)
this is tearing me apart, I've been cryinng all morning.
has anyone been through something like this, what do I do?

Aww your such a caring mother! Can you buy a dvd of the event, and then next year you can watch it with fond memories, or you could look around and see if there are any clubs that he could join that maybe will have their own christmas program.
