What is the colour of hulk's shorts?
I always thought they were purple, but a friend has recently brung to my attention that they were blue.
I am goin to a costume party as hulk, so I didn't want to get it wrong!

The first appearance of the Hulk, from Incredible Hulk #1 has Bruce Banner in a pair of blue slacks or trousers (I don't think they were blue jeans as he was a scientist working in a Gov't facility). So the Hulk is shown wearing torn blue slacks. The colors start to change and by issue #2 he is wearing a purple jumpsuit and purple slacks which goes on for some time into the late 80's and 90's.
So to answer your question, the color of the Hulk's FIRST pair of pants/shorts were blue, the second were purple, with the purple being the MOST recognizable throughout his career.
