Fancy dress ideas, gangster theme.?

Hi,
basically in a couple of weeks I am going on a hen night. Going out really stresses me out as I always look awful and am always accompanied by my much skinnier/prettier friends. So obviously with me being in normal going out closes and that stressing me I'm sure you can see that having to dress a certain way that I'm not comfortable with doubles the stress.
At the minute I'm so worried and my friends are all sorted, shorts and fishnets and shirts and ties etc but I have no idea what to wear.
Put me near a shirt/tie and I look like a great big fat man.
What can I do?
I generally go out wearing tights and boots with either a skirt and top or some sort of girly, plainish and generally black dress. Something to try and hide how horrible I look.
Any ideas for a gangster theme that doesn't look hideous?! All the costumes I've looked at for inspiration, I don't want to buy a specific costume though, are all for really thin and pretty girls.

What about a black dress, fishnets, boots and a white tie work with your dress, maybe a nice hat . I'm sure you have a much nicer figure than you give yourself credit for, just be confident.

Recently i bought myself a really flattering shirt dress from H&M It was completely black so quite slimming and its a good shape as there is an elastic part built into the dress which sits just under your boobs which means it sort of flows out and hides the rest of your lumps. Oh and better mention that im a size 14/16 and my friends are about sizes 6-10 and people still said i looked nice so don't worry. Anyone who thinks less of you because of your curves honestly has more of a problem than you do.
