How would i bandage the arms for a bride of frankenstein costume?
My mums made a fantastic shroud for my halloween costume - looks like exact copy of one in the film but i have no idea how to do the sleeves, which look like gauze bandages in the film..? I wanted to make them in the sort of zig-zag bandage design i have seen (somewhere?) but cant work out how to do this - looks sort of like a plait. Any ideas please...?

I am an adult by the way - just rubbish at sewing which is why mum made the cossie..... but think i can just about master the sleeves on my own - might even be allowed to use grown-up scissors......ouch......maybe not..!
I have now found what i wanted - it's called reverse spiral bandaging.
You can get some thin white fabric(or whatever color you wish), fold it/sew it up to have the thickness of the strip you want, and then drape it around your arms in a zig-zag manner. If you have left over fabric from your dress, you can use that as well. Some tape can help to hold some pieces in place, letting others drape. Good luck!
