Any easy 50's sock hop costumes?
my little sisters school is having a 50's sock hop and i was wondering if anyone had any easy ideas for making a costume. i don't really want to spend a lot of money, and it doesn't have to be anything really extravagant. i just want to be able to throw it together and then not have to worry about keeping it somewhere. if anyone has ideas or pictures, thanks!
Actually, you can make a poodle skirt yourself, see the source listing for a good website. Then you can just do a white shirt on top and a pink scarf, and do your hair in a high ponytail. My little sisters just had a sock hop at their school, and that's what they did.
You can even go in the same outfit, except exchange the poodle skirt for jeans. That way, you don't have to make anything. :3
